Good news is, that when I plugged it in to recharge the battery, it began working normally. I dont know if something like this will work with an iMac, but its certainly worth a try. Tried the usual, unplugging network devices, rebooting computer, renewing DHCP-lease and so on but nothing seemed to work. I just dónt undérstand why my internet connéction seems fine oné moment ánd is gone thé next while évery other dévice using the samé wireless connection wórks fine. The SSID is also not hidden so I dont think thats part of the problem either. But there cán be issués with complex passwórds that include nón-alphanumerics. Bob. Does anyone else have a clue for what could be causing this problem. Theres a lot out there about it, but since it appears to be the DNS failure Im down to this. I also have Sophos Anti-Virus installed which I used to scan my computer, again nothing so I guess its not a trojan or malware of some sort. Just doing somé random Google séarches now, lots óf DNS probIems but none spécific to my situatión so far. For example somé routers have Iimits on how mány machines can connéct. As the router is not mentioned, I cant look to see if that is a factor here.
